Learn how to choose the right paint and apply it with confidence for a wide range of projects. This class helps participants understand the differences between common paint types and how to match the right product and technique to the job at hand.

Participants will work hands-on with stains, latex, oil, and lacquer paints for both interior and exterior applications. You’ll practice using brushes, rollers, pads, sprayers, and wiping cloths while exploring how different tools and techniques affect the finished result. By working with a variety of paints, stains, and primers on sample boards to take home, you’ll build a practical reference and the confidence to decide which materials and methods work best for your projects.

This class pairs well with Prime and Paint Walls, offered October 11 for hands-on wall painting practice.
