Food and Beverage Manufacturing Partnership

introducing a new, limited-time program

The Rethink Business Program has launched our limited-time Food + Beverage Manufacturing Partnership for Oregon manufacturing businesses who want to integrate sustainability, reduce pollution, and increase profitability with expert support and financial incentives. BRING is dedicated to helping businesses improve both sustainability and profitability, backed by decades of expertise in providing technical assistance.

Through this opportunity, your manufacturing business will:

  • Receive a free on-site evaluation and technical assistance to reduce pollution in the manufacturing process
  • Receiving funding for replacement sanitizing equipment and cleaning supplies (with EPA Safer Choice products) in our Try Before You Buy program
  • Determine which additional innovative solutions from our tailored recommendations your business would like to implement and receive a detailed action plan and coordinator help to enact these changes
  • Promote your participation using one of our Rethink Business recognition tiers, endorsing your new sustainable practices

To qualify, your manufacturing business must: manufacture and sell a food or beverage product in Oregon, and distribute your product in a location outside of your company-owned retail spaces. This opportunity is available on a first-come, first-served basis and runs through the end of November 2025.

  1. Site Visit: We’ll conduct a site visit to assess your current practices and identify additional opportunities for pollution reduction, both at the source and during production.
  2. Detailed Report: Following the visit, we’ll provide a comprehensive report with cost estimates and a roadmap for implementing improvements.
  3. Implementation Support: Track staff time and outcomes over three months using simple reporting forms. We’ll help you evaluate effectiveness and address additional needs.
  4. Promotional Materials: Receive promotional materials to communicate your improvements to stakeholders and customers, ensuring the changes benefit your business and its reputation.
